Past Event: Tsidii Le Loka to Headline Majestic Benefit Concert

Come celebrate the launch of The New Majestic Theatre on Saturday January 21 at 7:30 PM. The night will feature the musical talents of internationally acclaimed vocalist Tsidii Le Loka.  Her performance will include songs from her native Africa, jazz, Broadway, pop and more.

Ms. Le Loka is most well-known for originating the role of “Rafiki” in The Lion King on Broadway. She has been nominated for a TONY and has won several other awards including a Drama Desk and the prestigious Ivor Novella Award. She began her career as a member of the top South African trio, SHADII. Tsidii has performed with some of the best artists on the world stage including: Sting, Max Roach, Madonna, Elton John, Miriam MeKeba, and Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Her television credits include Rose Red, Diary of Ellen Rimbauer, and Law and Order.

At the event, the staff and board of The Majestic Theatre will be on hand to unveil the vision for The New Majestic Theatre, incuding the new Artist in Residency Program, Maker’s Space, The Majestic Lab, Master Classes and Majestic Education.

Tickets for the event on January 21 range from $15 – 40.  Inner Circle tickets are available at $40 and include premium seating and reception with artists following the performance.
