Tsidii Le Loka Family Event

When: Sunday January 15th, 2:30 - 3:00 will be an intimate event for kids with special needs, 3:00-3:45 for any child in the community

  • Admissions: FREE, first come first serve

The Majestic Theatre is hosting a meet and greet on Sunday January 15 with Internationally Acclaimed Vocalist and Tony-nominated Star of The Lion King Tsidii Le Loka.  Ms. LeLoka will be on hand to share stories and song with local kids and families at The Majestic Theatre in downtown Corvallis.  Hear stories from Africa, Broadway and beyond.

 

This is a Free Event.  From 2:30 – 3:00 PM there will be a dedicated half hour for children with special needs to interact with the star.  This will take place in the community room on the second floor.  In that same from, from 3:00 – 3:45, Tsidii will visit with families and perform a short concert.  Ms. Le Loka is most well-known for originating the role of “Rafiki” in The Lion King on Broadway.  Tsidii has performed with some of the best artists on the world stage including: Sting, Max Roach, Madonna, Elton John, and Miriam MeKeba.
