Advice

We are pleased to offer any advice and answer questions which may be of help to renters in planning their event. Call or stop in anytime.

Supplies

MTM has some types of stage supplies available to renters on a cost basis: stage tape, glow tape, scene design templates, lighting gels, etc.

Ticket production and distribution are the responsibility of the renter. However MTM will gladly generate ticket templates for both general seating and reserved seating. These templates can then be taken to a copy shop for printing on a card stock paper and cutting. To order ticket template(s), call the Majestic Theatre business office at 758-STAR (7827). Tickets will display the name of the producing organization, the name of the event (or an abreviated version), the date and time of the event, and ticket prices and discounts. Templates cost $5.00 per event.

Publicity for productions is the responsibility of the renter. However, MTM does provide some important publicity opportunities for renters. This includes:

• The ShowTimes Newsletter This eight page quarterly tabloid is mailed to Friends of the Majestic members and distributed tp various locations throughout the community. Renters are encouraged to submit a press release and photo to MTM for publication in The ShowTimes. Publishing date are January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1. Deadlines are one month before publication. There is no charge.
• Majestic Theatre Web Site: All public events are listed on the Events Page.
• Posters: Renters are encouraged to submit two posters for hanging, one in the lobby and one in the designated window. MTM will choose the location. There is no charge.
• Leaflets, Flyers and Brochures: There is some limited space available in the theatre lobby for renters to display brochures, leaflets and such. Talk to the Operations Manager to determine a suitable location. There is no charge.
• Sidewalk Sandwich Sign:MTM has a sandwich sign that can be displayed in front of the entrance each day. Renters are encouraged to use it. Renters must arrange for it to be put out and put back inside each day. There is no charge.
