We're so excited about what the 25-26 season has in store!

The Great Gatsby
September 26 - October 5
Friday, Saturday at 7:30 pm & Sunday at 2:30 pm

Jay Gatsby, a self-made millionaire, passionately pursues the elusive Daisy Buchanan. Nick Carraway, a young newcomer to Long Island, is drawn into their world of obsession, greed, and danger. The breathtaking glamour and decadent excesses of the Jazz Age come to the stage in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel in a quick-paced adaptation by Simon Levy, which preserves Fitzgerald’s glorious prose and is approved by the Fitzgerald Estate.

Rated: PG-13

The Producers - Musical
November 7 - 23
Thursday, Friday, Saturday at 7:30 pm & Sunday at 2:30 pm

The plot is simple: a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his mild-mannered accountant come up with a scheme to produce the most notorious musical theater flop in history, thereby bilking their backers (who are all "little old ladies") out of millions of dollars. Only one thing goes awry: the show is a smash hit! The antics of Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom as they maneuver their way fecklessly through finding a show (the gloriously offensive "Springtime for Hitler"), hiring a director, raising the money, and finally going to prison for their misdeeds is a lesson in broad comic construction. At the core of this incredibly funny adventure is a poignant emotional journey of two very different men who gradually become the dearest of friends.

Rated: PG-13

The Outsiders
January 23 -February 1
Friday, Saturday at 7:30 pm & Sunday at 2:30 pm

This entirely practical stage adaptation deals with real people, seen through the eyes of young Ponyboy, a Greaser on the wrong side of life, caught up in territorial battles between the have-it-made rich kids the “Socs” and his tough, underprivileged Greaser family and friends. This production is brought to life at the Majestic by our first youth Mainstage director, bringing his vision and raw understanding of the difficulties of being a teenager in a challenging world.

Rated: PG-13

Rossum’s Universal Robots
March 13 - 22
Friday, Saturday at 7:30 pm & Sunday at 2:30 pm

R.U.R. (Rossum's Universal Robots) is a delightful science fiction play written in 1920 by the Czech playwright Karel Čapek. The play, which introduced the concept of robots to the world, is set in a dystopian future where machines serve humanity. But what else might they do? "R.U.R." remains a thought-provoking exploration of automation, unfree labor, and the ethical and societal implications of artificial intelligence. The play is also a treatise on political and social others, hierarchy, and the dangers of authoritarianism.

Rated: PG-13

Legally Blonde - Musical
May 8 - 24
Thursday, Friday, Saturday at 7:30 pm & Sunday at 2:30 pm

Elle Woods appears to have it all…until her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend Warner dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle ingeniously tests and charms her way into the prestigious law school. While there, she comes into conflict with peers, professors, and her ex, none of whom believe she belongs. With the support of some new friends, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.
