MAJESTIC THEATRE
YOUTH SCHOLARSHIPS

We recognize that in order to offer truly inclusive programming, financial assistance is a crucial piece of the process. We want theatre education to be accessible to families of all income levels, and so we have a variety of options to ensure that any child who wants to learn about the performing arts has an opportunity to do so!

Your child may qualify for more than one of the following financial assistance options.

PARKS AND RECREATION SCHOLARSHIPS

All of our youth (and adult!) theatre classes, camps, afterschool programs, and workshops are eligible for the city-wide Parks and Rec Scholarship Program. Filling out the application can provide qualified applicants with $150 per person in your family per year towards registration costs. Award applications are currently being accepted for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 (available to use July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026).

These funds can be applied towards the cost of our 2026 summer day camps, as long as registrations are processed prior to June 30, 2026.

What is MYS Support?

Established in 2023 in conjunction with the inaugural Majestic Gala, the Majestic Youth Stars Support program provides financial assistance for participation in youth and family programming at The Majestic Theatre. Proceeds from the Gala are dedicated to this fund, ensuring that cost is not a barrier to access. The program reflects The Majestic Theatre’s commitment to equity, inclusion, and the belief that all young people should have the opportunity to benefit from arts education and engagement.

How is it Funded?
The MYS Support Program is made possible through Gala proceeds and special community donations. Each year, up to $6,500 is available to provide financial assistance until funds are fully distributed. Depending on available resources, support may be limited to one camp or class per student per season. If approved, the maximum award covers up to 75% of the program fee.
