This theatre is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion and to creating a welcoming place for actors of all backgrounds to explore their craft. We are eager to work with artists of color and other artists from marginalized communities. All auditions are free and open to the public. This audition is for an amateur, volunteer production. Theatre staff and volunteers do not discriminate on the basis of age, national origin, race, gender, ethnic background, ability, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or any protected class.
Auditions will be held in person.
SHOW SYNOPSIS
Veterans' Voices Revisited explores the realities of serving our country and being a veteran. These stories, previously performed in 2019 and 2020, were inspired by Oregon veterans and written by local playwrights.

Looking to tell stories that honor local veterans because you love a veteran or are one? Please join us for auditions on October 6th. Veterans’ Voices is readers’ theatre style (no line memorization) with no props and minimal blocking, with a short rehearsal schedule for busy actors. Questions? PREPARATION NOTES
You do NOT need to prepare a monologue or piece. Wear comfortable clothes to audition; be ready to move as part of your audition.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
General: Looking for up to 8 actors. All actors play various roles within 2-5 shorts plays.
All characters do not have a specific race or ethnic background; we're excited to see a diverse pool of actors audition for all roles.
Character Gender: Looking for male-presenting, female-presenting, and non-binary actors.
Characters Age: Can portray 18-85 years old
Character Ability/movement: The stories require actors to move in and out of the scene in front of, and through the audience, ability to sit on a bar stool, and stand.
