OPEN SUBMISSIONS—Perform in the Park!

This Summer 2025, the Majestic Theatre has two fun performance opportunities for our volunteer community:

Broadway in the Park (formerly Picnic in the Park) will take place on Saturday, August 2nd at 7pm. This event is a free community concert, put on by The Majestic Theatre at the Peffer Amphitheater in Bruce Starker Arts Park.

Movie in the Park will take place on Friday, August 15th. This event is a free family movie night at Avery Park, and we have live performers as part of the pre-show festivities from 7pm until sundown.

Prospective performers can sign up for one or both performance opportunities, but please be aware that you can only use pre-recorded music at Movie in the Park, whereas at Broadway in the Park, you have the opportunity to perform with our three-piece house band.

You can sign up to perform as a solo or in a group. (If you are in multiple acts, please fill out a separate form response for each.)

THIS APPLICATION CLOSES JUNE 30TH at 11:59PM. Performers will be notified of acceptance into one or both line-ups no later than July 7th.

Sheet music or accompaniment recordings will be due July 15th.

A dress rehearsal for Broadway in the Park will take place on Friday, August 1st at 6:30pm; there will be no dress rehearsal for Movie in the Park.
